Hello, and welcome to the Friday Update from GREATER MSP's Federal Funding Hub!

The purpose of this message is to share information so that our region can make the most of the opportunities under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Hub News

Today, the EDA published a list of the 529 applications it received for Phase 1 of the Build Back Better Challenge, including our region’s "Bold North BioInnovation Cluster.”

If you’re interested in learning more about that application, please save the date for a webinar on November 12th from 9-10am. GREATER MSP staff and partners will share information about this proposal as well as next steps. We'll send out an invitation for that webinar to this list next week.

The Governor’s Council on Economic Expansion will meet November 1 from 2-4pm. The meeting objective is to “refine priorities and recommendations and consider impacts and unintended consequences of those.” The following week, on November 8, the Council will “Polish recommendations for the Governor and Lieutenant Governor.” View materials and join the meeting here.
